The Running Head edits, designs and produces (‘packages’) books, publications and digital media. Some people call this project management.
Our end products include files in a variety of formats for e-books, as well as for print on paper. Our work is both beautiful and beautifully considered, whatever the medium or genre.
We are a very good fit with independent, smaller and self-publishers. They understand that our practical, imaginative and respectful suggestions add significant publishing value. Self-publishers in particular benefit from safe navigation through the deep waters of digital formats. We try, at all times, to be civilized, helpful, responsible, convivial and professional; we are proud that we take care in what we do.
We aim to make reading – commercial or academic – delightful, memorable and full of meaning. You are currently looking at some of our work; the case studies show some more. It is also both a pleasure and an obligation to pass on our skills and experience in our training. Our customers and authors have said some wonderful things about both strands of what we do.
In this website we have chosen some images and texts – randomly combined and different every time you open or refresh a page – to reflect the diversity and complexity of the experience of reading. We hope they add a further richness of meaning to the site.
